New Items To Add To Your Makeup Bag For Summer

Hello everyone, summer is almost here! Where I live the weather has started to warm up but we are not there yet. But with summer in mind here are some things to add to your makeup bag.

A Bright Lipstick: I have the YSL lipstick in the colour 42, I got this as a sample in my Topbox. I just think having a bright lipstick with a tan looks so good.

A Glowing Foundation: Unfortunately as I continued to use the Josie Maran Foundation I broke out really bad on my chin. So I had to return, but I have started to use the MAC Face and Body, which I love. But having a glowy foundation for summer is great there are some out there that are good for oily skin too, like the MAC Next to Nothing. You just needs to find out what works for you.

A Liquid Luminizer: A liquid luminizer is perfect for the summer because you can mix it into foundation or wear it has a highlight on the tops of the cheek bones. Having it be a liquid allows it to blend in effortlessly. The one featured in the picture is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade Moonstone. I really like the colour of this one it is nice and bright glow.

New Lip Products at MAC

Hey everyone hope you are doing well! Today I am talking about the new lip products that have come to MAC, hope you enjoy.

Metallic Lips Collection: MAC has joined the Metallic lip train. But what I love about their interpretation of the metallic lip is they have made it in a lipstick form. Most companies have made a metallic liquid lipstick, but I prefer a lipstick bullet. The colours are also awesome, there are a lot of neutrals, but also some really bright cool shades as well.

Lipglass Collection: MAC lip glosses have been know for being sticky sometimes. But they have reformulated their lipglass, and put it in new and better packing. I have to say I typically don't where a lot of lip gloss. But I have been wearing this new lipglass everyday since I got it.

The lipstick I got is called Devotional, and  has a nude base with a blue and purple shimmer. It is very wearable, but when I turn in the light you can see the iridescent finish. The lipglass I got doesn't look like anything special, it looks like a plain light nude brown. But when I wear it over nude pink lipsticks it makes the lipsticks the perfect nude pinky brown. I love wearing it over all my nude and pink lips.

These new products are definitely worth picking up! If you have been eyeing them up, I would definitely take the plunge.

Thanks for reading, and talk to you soon!

Favourite Items at Sephora---What to buy in the VIB Sale

Hey everyone hope you are doing well, I am almost done school, yippee! I have two more finals and them I am done, I am so excited. I will have a lot more time to write new posts. I have so many posts sitting in my draft folder waiting to be written.
Today I thought I would write a blog post about the Sephora VIB sale (I am not sure if it is for BI too), and give you some ideas of the products I love from Sephora, in case you were wondering what items to pick up. The sale goes till the 24th and is 15% off everything in store and online.

This is the Becca First Light Priming Filter, and this primer is amazing. I have been a sceptic of primer for most of my makeup wearing days. I know that mattifying primers work really well and work for their purpose. But I have dry skin so I didn't know what primer I needed, or would actually work well. Until I got a sample of the Becca primer. I have tried samples of the Too Faced Hangover Rx moisturizing primer, and they have been alright. But when I used this primer my makeup has never looked better. My skin looks so smooth and glowy, but this primer as you can see is quite fluid. It makes my makeup look so smooth but has no silicone feeling at all. It moisturizes and the glow it gives under my makeup is amazing. I just picked this bottle up today in the sale.

This is the new highlighting stick from Nudestix, and I only bought this today, but I am already loving it. My makeup routine has been using only cream or liquid products and I only have one cream highlighter. So I saw swatches online of this product and it looked right up my alley. I forgot to take a picture of a swatch, but the product is quite balmy, and not necessarily very pigmented. It gives almost a wet sheen to the skin, in the best way possible. I would not recommend this to someone with oily skin because I have a feeling it could look greasy on the face. There are three shades and you can easily find swatches online. This shade is called illumi-naughty, and has a pearl sheen with pink, purple, and yellow.

This is the Benefit Ka-Brow and it is the best brow product I have ever tried. I have almost been using it for a year, and I am still loving it. It is a brow pomade with a brush on top, and the brush is actually good.

This is the Milk Makeup Matte bronzer. This cream stick bronzer is amazing and it has been the only bronzer I have been using and I love it!

The Anastasia Glow Kit in Sundipped is amazing! I am not sure if it is online but I know my Sephora still had a few and if you can find it I would recommend picking it up.

These are just the foil packets of the classic three little wonders from Ole Henriksen, but in the past week and a half that I have been using them I fell like my skin is doing well. In the sale I purchased the $30 mini set to continue to try them out and make sure my skin really likes it before I commit to the full size. But so far these products have been great.

This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone. This is a great liquid highlight either to use on the tops of your cheek bones or mixed in with foundation. This is the smaller size, which I honestly think is a lot of product. I have had this small size for about 3 years and there is still quite a lot of product left.

This is the classic Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which is a great bronzer for light to medium skin tones. It is a smooth powder with the right amount of cool and warmth.

This is a great time to pick up this Hourglass Trio because is expensive. I got this product in another sale, where I was able to get it for $25 off. This trio is so amazing, these creams are so smooth and easy to blend, and the highlighter has the perfect pop. This palette is also amazing for travel because it has everything all in one.

I only own one of the Nars Audacious Lipsticks, but I want to own the whole collection if you are looking for a rich, pigmented, creamy, moisturizing, long-wear lipstick, then these are perfect for you. They are one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried, and definitely worth their price tag.

This has become a cult classic in the beauty community, and I can see why. If you are into these warm shades, then you will love this palette. The shadow quality is excellent, and with this palette you can create a whole eye look. which makes it great for travel. I would highly recommend the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette.

I hope this was helpful and maybe gave you some inspiration for your future purchases. Thank you for reading my post, I hope you have a good week, and I will hear from you next time!

Best Drugstore Eyeshadow Palette

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well! I have this shadow quad for awhile and it is one of my favourites. The shadows are so smooth and pigmented, and a bonus it is drugstore! This is the shadow quad by Maybelline in Copper Chic and it is amazing. The shadows are smoother than some of the high end brands I own. They do have other shades of these quads if you are not into these colours.

I love using the lightest shade as a highlight for my face as well. I find there is no glitter in it so it adds a really nice sheen to the cheeks. This palette is a great buy and I love it because I can complete a whole eye look with this palette.

If you are looking for some new shadows then I would highly recommend picking this up, because the quality is amazing, and this palette is really affordable.

Thanks for reading guys, hope you enjoyed, and I will talk to you soon!

March Beauty Favourites 2017

Hi everyone, I hope you had a good March. I am almost done school and I am very excited!
Let's talk about all the products I have been loving through the month of March.

I know I just talked about this foundation, but I had to mention it again. It is so amazing, I love that there is cold pressed argan oil in it, which makes it very moisturizing. It is very smooth on the skin, and my favourite way to apply it is with a Beauty Blender. If you have dry skin I would highly recommend, and this foundation has a pretty good shade range.

This is the most amazing bronzer I have ever tried, I realize now I did not include a swatch but if you type in Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer there will be swatches to look at. This is called a matte bronzer, but I believe they only use the word matte because there is no shimmer in it. Because to me this bronzer is not fully matte, it has such a nice glow and dewy look on the skin. This product is so smooth and looks very natural.

I have been loving this concealer, it is a pricy concealer, but it is really amazing. I have not found anything better and I have tried a few concealers in my day. I love it for under the eye and to cover blemishes. There is lots of pigment in this product, but contrary to its name it is not drying at all. You would think with it being a matte concealer it would dry your under eyes out but it really doesn't. If you are looking to splurge then I would pick this product up.

I love this product so much, I have had it since the summer, and it is the best brow product I have ever tried. It is so amazing and it comes with a small brush that is in the lid, and the brush is actually good. This products lasts all day and it does not wear off. If you have ever ad trouble with your brow products staying on then I would try this product it does not move.

I am so glad I decided to try this oil at the drugstore, it is amazing. I bought mine from Walmart, and it works so well with my skin. A little bit ago I had a lot of texture on my skin, and it was making me self-conscious. I decided to give this oil a try because it contains retinol and that is something I have never tried in my skincare products before. I am not sure if is the retinol that helped my skin, but this oil has made my skin look so much better than it was before, and it is only $10! The only issue people might have with this oil is it is scented and I know some people react to scented products. But if you hang on to your receipt you can return it if it does not work out.

Thanks for reading everyone, have a good day, and I will talk to you soon!

Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid

Hey guys I hope you are doing well! I recently got this foundation and I instantly fell in love. First off I would only recommend this foundation for people with normal to dry/really dry skin. I love this foundation so much because I am the person who loves a really glowy face. This foundation is infused with argan oil, which is amazing. It makes the foundation quite moisturizing and I'm in love with the glow it gives to my skin. I have been going back and forth between a brush and a sponge, and I think bot work well, but I prefer a sponge. I use the Beauty Blender and this foundation goes a long way. I use a small amount and instead of dabbing it on my face I use a swiping motion to blend it in even better with my skin. I have been loving a natural skin look, I don't want anything to look heavy so blend it in really well, and any blemishes I cover with concealer.

I wear the shade Cosmic G15 and I love this shade. It is the perfect colour for me because it is a yellow shade, and it doe snot oxidize. I have tried many foundations and they always seems to go pink and orange on me, and I have a very yellow skin tone. So my face would sometimes be way too pink compared to my neck. This is the perfect shade for me!

I love this foundation because I feel as though it has skincare benefits. This product has cold pressed argan oil in the foundation so you help moisturize your skin throughout the day. Because of this my face doesn't look dry throughout the day like it does with other foundations. If you are looking for a new foundation and you have dry skin I would check this one out, I also appreciate that they have a pretty good shade range.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, hope it was helpful! Have a great week and I will talk to your soon.

Anti-Haul | Makeup I'm Not Going To Buy

Hey everyone, I hope you are doing well. I have been seeing anti-haul videos on Youtube popping up a lot. I thought this was a cool idea because then you can hear why other people are not interested in a product, because most of the time we just hear about why someone wants a product. We are usually told that we have to buy it all. Don't be offended if this is your favourite product this is just my own opinion, and maybe why I might not like a product may be the reason you love the product. I am also not bashing the brand I am just not interested in buying these products.

To me this product seems like a lot of money for what it is, this product is $38. This seems like a lot because to me this product is really subtle and I feel like you can get a product like this at the drugstore.

I know usually with an anti-haul you are not supposed to have already owned the product, but I only owned this palette for two days. I had a gift card and I bought this palette, I have a different glow kit from Anastasia and I love it. But I was very disappointed by this product, I have heard this from others and I would agree that Anastasia has changed their formula of their highlights. They have now been adding glitter to the glow kits, which is really disappointing. Trust me I like a shiny highlight, but I do not want glitter in my highlight, because it accentuates my texture. Unless you like a glitter highlight I would not recommend this palette.

I have not heard anything about this setting spray, but I do not see what could be so good about this product that I would pay $39 for. To me there are a lot of setting sprays out there that are good a lot more affordable. I will be publishing a post soon about my favourite setting sprays, and they are more affordable, so stayed tuned for that.

I have seen someone use this on snapchat and it is a really weird product. First off it is a liquid lipstick, but in order to get out the product you have to squeeze the tube. Which I would find it hard to control how much lipstick comes out. Also the applicator at the top is really weird and I have heard really hard to use. I have heard from the blogger Lilly Pebbles that she has to use to fingers to put it on, that sounds like a lot of work to me. I don't want to have to use my fingers to apply my liquid lipstick.

I feel like there are better liquid highlighters on the market, although I like the wand applicator, I have heard this product when being blended shifts your foundation around. It can take parts of your foundation off, and the reviews on Sephora overall are not very good. There is nothing that gets me excited about this product.

From the moment this product launched I thought What The HECK!?!? The two halves of the palette don't have any shadows that can be used together, and each half on its own does not work either. To me I could never see myself just using this palette, and this palette is $79. It does come with a full size liner and mascara, but there is nothing about this palette that interests me.

To me contour palettes have never interested me, because I would never use all the shades from the palette. But I have also heard that this palette's contour shades are really muddy and are hard to blend.

Thanks for reading everyone, I hope that you enjoyed!
