Hey everyone hope you are doing well, I am almost done school, yippee! I have two more finals and them I am done, I am so excited. I will have a lot more time to write new posts. I have so many posts sitting in my draft folder waiting to be written.
Today I thought I would write a blog post about the Sephora VIB sale (I am not sure if it is for BI too), and give you some ideas of the products I love from Sephora, in case you were wondering what items to pick up. The sale goes till the 24th and is 15% off everything in store and online.
This is the Becca First Light Priming Filter, and this primer is amazing. I have been a sceptic of primer for most of my makeup wearing days. I know that mattifying primers work really well and work for their purpose. But I have dry skin so I didn't know what primer I needed, or would actually work well. Until I got a sample of the Becca primer. I have tried samples of the Too Faced Hangover Rx moisturizing primer, and they have been alright. But when I used this primer my makeup has never looked better. My skin looks so smooth and glowy, but this primer as you can see is quite fluid. It makes my makeup look so smooth but has no silicone feeling at all. It moisturizes and the glow it gives under my makeup is amazing. I just picked this bottle up today in the sale.
This is the new highlighting stick from Nudestix, and I only bought this today, but I am already loving it. My makeup routine has been using only cream or liquid products and I only have one cream highlighter. So I saw swatches online of this product and it looked right up my alley. I forgot to take a picture of a swatch, but the product is quite balmy, and not necessarily very pigmented. It gives almost a wet sheen to the skin, in the best way possible. I would not recommend this to someone with oily skin because I have a feeling it could look greasy on the face. There are three shades and you can easily find swatches online. This shade is called illumi-naughty, and has a pearl sheen with pink, purple, and yellow.
This is the Benefit Ka-Brow and it is the best brow product I have ever tried. I have almost been using it for a year, and I am still loving it. It is a brow pomade with a brush on top, and the brush is actually good.
This is the Milk Makeup Matte bronzer. This cream stick bronzer is amazing and it has been the only bronzer I have been using and I love it!
The Anastasia Glow Kit in Sundipped is amazing! I am not sure if it is online but I know my Sephora still had a few and if you can find it I would recommend picking it up.
These are just the foil packets of the classic three little wonders from Ole Henriksen, but in the past week and a half that I have been using them I fell like my skin is doing well. In the sale I purchased the $30 mini set to continue to try them out and make sure my skin really likes it before I commit to the full size. But so far these products have been great.
This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone. This is a great liquid highlight either to use on the tops of your cheek bones or mixed in with foundation. This is the smaller size, which I honestly think is a lot of product. I have had this small size for about 3 years and there is still quite a lot of product left.
This is the classic Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which is a great bronzer for light to medium skin tones. It is a smooth powder with the right amount of cool and warmth.
This is a great time to pick up this Hourglass Trio because is expensive. I got this product in another sale, where I was able to get it for $25 off. This trio is so amazing, these creams are so smooth and easy to blend, and the highlighter has the perfect pop. This palette is also amazing for travel because it has everything all in one.
I only own one of the Nars Audacious Lipsticks, but I want to own the whole collection if you are looking for a rich, pigmented, creamy, moisturizing, long-wear lipstick, then these are perfect for you. They are one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried, and definitely worth their price tag.
This has become a cult classic in the beauty community, and I can see why. If you are into these warm shades, then you will love this palette. The shadow quality is excellent, and with this palette you can create a whole eye look. which makes it great for travel. I would highly recommend the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette.
I hope this was helpful and maybe gave you some inspiration for your future purchases. Thank you for reading my post, I hope you have a good week, and I will hear from you next time!
